Built and run by a Maldivian family, Aqua Luna was created to share the kind of stay they value most — warm, attentive, and unhurried.
With only 16 rooms, including a light-filled Penthouse Suite, the guesthouse feels intimate but never formal.
Days here unfold easily: a swim before breakfast, coffee on the deck, an afternoon by the beach, dinner under the stars.

Aqua Luna was created to offer something different on Dhangethi — more comfort and style than a guesthouse, yet more warmth and local connection than a resort.
The idea began with a family whose life has always been tied to the sea. Inspired by Dhangethi's stories — especially the one where islanders once believed they could catch the moon in a bowl of water — Aqua Luna was born as a place where the ocean and the moon meet.
Every detail reflects that balance: light, calm, and care in everything we do.

It takes less than ten minutes to walk across Dhangethi. The streets are lined with bright houses and potted plants, and cafés where locals and visitors meet. Just beyond the village lies the lagoon — calm, shallow, and perfect for swimming. Everything you might need is close, and life moves at an easy, friendly pace.
